Supernova was an interactive theatre performance at the intersection of art and technology. The project is the result of a collaboration between NYU's Graduate IDM and ITP programs and undergraduate NYU Shanghai IMA program. Narratively, the piece explored what it means to be an artist in an age of increasing technological interconnection through the use of Motion Capture technology, theater, and Unreal Engine.
The piece was created using Unreal Engine and the Optitrack Motion Capture Studio. I wrote the piece and performed it with Michelle Hessel in December 2016.
